Hello

I'm Chris.

I am happily married with two adult children, a son in law and a gorgeous dog who shows me every day how to live in the moment and find the joy.

I absolutely love to travel. 

I have lots of tattoos that all have very special meanings for me.

I love music and can often be found barefoot sitting a round a firepit.

 

I truly believe that life is a gift and that we shouldn't waste a moment of it being anxious, unhappy or in pain.

My Story

Hi. I'm Chris.

I am passionate about showing you how changing your mind can change you life.

 

I believe that our emotions are signposts to the thoughts that aren't working for us.
I know this to be true, because I've spent years working on my mindset as I've transformed from an anxious girl, to a confident women. A woman who is happy in my own skin, knows my worth and lives in alignment with the things that are important to me. If I can do it, you can too.

I know how exhausting the worrying and overthinking is. I know how they lead to comparing yourself to others and the impact that has on confidence and self esteem, because I have experienced the stress and overwhelm of living like this.

The difference now is that I know how to manage it so that it no longer controls my life.

Things started to change for me when I discovered Mindfulness. For the first time, I realised I didn’t have to be controlled by my thoughts and emotions. Instead, I learned how to manage them. This was a huge turning point. I began to respond differently to the triggers causing my anxiety, breaking free from the exhausting cycle of worry and the devastating impact that it was having on my life and wellbeing. I had finally found a sense of calm and control.

 

My life changed so much.

I have over 25 years experience of supporting women just like you. My expertise lies in empowering women to thrive, whether at home or in the workplace. I have had the privilege of working in education, the criminal justice system and coaching female refugees seeking asylum. 

I knew that I could help people, so I became a Trauma Informed Anxiety Coach. I have a background in special needs and holistic therapies and I believe in an holistic approach to wellbeing.

I specialise in helping you to manage and overcome anxiety, because I know that dealing with it can free you from the lack of confidence, burnout, and overwhelm that it can cause.

As an Holistic Therapist, I soon realised that while my clients were enjoying their treatments, it was the opportunity to talk about the things that were bothering them in a safe space, that they really enjoyed. So I trained as a Coach.

I then began to understand that it wasn't what was happening to them that was causing the problem, it was how they were thinking about it that was the issue. So I trained as a Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Therapist.

 

It then became clear that some clients had trouble with letting things go and needed an effective tool that could help them to find a release. So I trained as an Emotional Freedom Technique Practitioner.

When it became clear that some of my clients held deeply rooted beliefs and habits that were buried deep in their subconscious. I trained as a Clinical Hypnotherapist.

That's how my Life and Mindset Therapy was born.

Life and Mindset Therapy is my unique trauma-informed approach, that blends years of expertise to help you to work through the root cause of your anxiety on every level of your consciousness.

I am accredited by EMCC at Senior Practitioner level and I am a member of the Complementary Medicine Association (MCMA).
